Is a Dvd Creator Software a Must Have ?

By: admin
Published: July 10th, 2010

How often do you convert or make copies of DVDs and store them on your computer for later playback or burn them on the DVDs or CDROMS? There are plenty of people around the worlds who would want to convert the quality DVDs to their desired format and then burn them later. Frankly speaking majority of people around the world rent movie DVDs instead of buying them and then makes copies to store such movies on to the local hard drive in a different format by using some good quality ripping software available on the internet.

If you are after good video quality then those ripping software are just going to be waste of time and will testing your nerve. Take a look at Super DVD Creator, cool software which would make exact copies any supported format video files into a different format like an AVI or MPEG1 or MPEG2.

Download the software today as it’s very easy to install, only few simple mouse clicks. Click on the application icon through either desktop or programs menu and enjoy the initial looks. Pick-up a source and a destination location and that’s all, now Click the start button to get the files converted into a DVD, SVCD or a VCD format. It can almost pick any formats like VCD, SVCD, DivX, WMV, ASF, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVI, Xvid etc, and convert them to DVD, SVCD or VCD format and burn them directly on to the Disk.

There is a little more to this application interface where you can choose to pick some more options like picking up the DVD format either for PAL or NTSC.The software comes with a nice DVD Menu creator which is very good and the user can pick and choose the background image and music from any file on the local computer.

So check these 4 top reasons to Choose Super DVD Creator:

1. For its High speed and fantastic Video quality which is based upon the Super Encode Engine based upon MMX – SSE & 3DNow technology which gets you the best ever picture quality. You don’t have to wait for hours for the ripping to finish, it take less thank 60 minutes to get a perfect copy of a 4.2 GB DVD. The power is impressive!

2. It support AC3 audio which means the Super DVD Creator is going to get you the Dolby AC3 5.1 audio surround sound effects as long as the original DVD has it. It makes true copies on your PC.

3. An extra support for the DVD Chapter Menu giving the user an ability to make a funky DVD menu with cool background picture and music. And yes use the menu if you have more than 1 movie to burn on to a DVD, otherwise it would not be feasible. With menu options you can pick and choose the movie and play them on your DVD player at home.

4. Support of DVD subtitle given a facility to copy the true DVD subtitles as they would be in the original DVD. Now this makes it a perfect Copy creator as well.

I really don’t know what else a user might be looking for.

How to be Sure your Best Loved DVD Will Go the Distance

By: admin
Published: July 4th, 2010

The life expectancy of a DVD is said to be around 30-50 years which is why they are popular for storing data, music, and movies. However, a damaged DVD can expire long before that time resulting in the loss of its contents. A few steps to ensure the well being of a DVD are the best way to protect important contents.

Proper storage:

A DVD should be maintained in a hard plastic storage case in a vertical position to avoid breakage and scratches that can potentially result in data errors. Cases can also keep a DVD free from dirt and dust. Keeping the disc clean helps to keep the player clean as well.

Proper handling:

The surface of the DVD should not be touched. When removing it from the player, the edges of the disc should not be pried up. Instead it should be grasped with the thumb and another finger; one through the hole in the center and the other on the outer edge of the disc. What many people do not realize is that the sensitive side of the disc is the bottom side; the side without the label.

Proper cleaning:

A damp, non-abrasive cloth should be used to wipe a DVD clean. Wiping from the center out is the best technique; a circular motion around the disc should never be used. For more serious smudges commercial cleaners are available for cleaning and even those for scratch repair and polishing.

Avoid heat:

Avoid laying the DVD on a hot surface or in the direct sunlight.

Handle gently:

Be especially careful when loading the DVD into a player; assuring that it is firmly in place before attempting to close the tray as damage commonly occurs when loading the DVD to play. Twisting, bending, and allowing discs to rub against each other can damage the outer layers. Another important thing to remember in order to protect the surface is that placing a label on the disc is generally not recommended.
